Netframe Manager 1.6.1 is now available, bringing a broad set of functional stability improvements and user interface refinements across the platform.
This release continues our focus on making Netframe a reliable, practical, and familiar virtual infrastructure management platform for organisations looking to manage KVM-based hypervisor environments with confidence. While version 1.6.1 is not positioned as a major feature release, it represents an important step forward in day-to-day platform quality, operational consistency, and usability.
A key focus of this release has been improving connectivity between Netframe Manager and managed Netframe Core hypervisors. Reliable communication between the management plane and hypervisor nodes is fundamental to the overall platform experience, and version 1.6.1 includes improvements designed to make host connectivity more stable, predictable, and resilient during normal operations.
Inventory management has also received attention in this release. Netframe Manager relies on accurate and consistent visibility of managed infrastructure, including hosts, virtual machines, clusters, and related platform objects. Version 1.6.1 includes a number of refinements that improve how inventory data is collected, maintained, refreshed, and presented within the management interface.
Live migration workflows have also been improved. As workload mobility is a critical capability in virtualised environments, this release includes functional stability enhancements aimed at improving the reliability and consistency of migration-related operations between compatible hypervisor nodes.
In addition to these platform-level improvements, Manager & Core 1.6.1 includes a wide range of user interface updates. These include styling refinements, layout adjustments, responsiveness improvements, and general usability enhancements across multiple areas of the product. The goal is to provide a cleaner and more consistent experience whether administrators are navigating inventory views, managing virtual machines, or working across different screen sizes.
Together, these changes reflect the ongoing maturity of the Netframe platform. Our development focus remains on building a virtual infrastructure management experience that feels familiar, performs reliably, and gives organisations a strong alternative for managing on-premises virtualisation environments.
Netframe Manager and Core 1.6.1 are available now for Netframe deployments.
