Netframe at Tech in Gov 2026

Netframe headed to Canberra for Tech in Gov 2026, where conversations with government organisations around virtualisation, migration and infrastructure choice have already progressed into follow-up meetings and deeper technical discussions.

Earlier this month, the Netframe team headed to Canberra for Tech in Gov 2026, where we had the opportunity to introduce Netframe to government technology leaders, infrastructure teams and industry partners from across Australia.

It was our first time exhibiting at Tech in Gov, and the response exceeded our expectations.

Among a convention floor dominated by AI, cloud and cybersecurity, Netframe was a little different: an Australian-built enterprise virtualisation platform focused on the core infrastructure organisations still rely on every day.

That difference led to some excellent conversations.

Over the two days, we spoke with representatives from a range of government organisations about their current virtualisation environments, the changing VMware landscape, migration strategies and the role Netframe could play as an alternative platform.

For many attendees, it was also their first opportunity to see Netframe running in person. We demonstrated the platform live and talked through how organisations can evaluate Netframe alongside their existing infrastructure without needing to make an immediate platform-wide commitment.

From conversations to next steps

One of the most encouraging parts of Tech in Gov has been what has happened since the event.

Several discussions that started at our stand have already progressed into follow-up meetings and deeper technical conversations, giving us the opportunity to explore where Netframe may fit within a range of government environments.

For a young Australian infrastructure company, having those conversations directly with organisations operating large and complex environments is an important milestone.

It also reinforced something we have believed from the beginning: there is genuine demand for greater choice in enterprise virtualisation.

Thank you, Canberra

A big thank you to everyone who stopped by the Netframe stand, asked questions, challenged us technically, watched a demo or simply came over to find out what we were building.

We came away from Canberra with plenty of follow-up work, valuable feedback and even more confidence about where Netframe fits in the Australian infrastructure landscape.

If you met us at Tech in Gov and would like to continue the discussion, or if you were not able to attend and would like to see Netframe for yourself, get in touch to organise a technical discussion or demonstration.
